Why? Because most of the time you might receive photography feedback as:
- Work on your composition, you need one step aside, or forward, etc.
- Change your exposure to measure shadows, or high lights, etc.
- Use a tripod for steady shot, or lay on something steady.
- Use different ISO to give XorY appearance.
- Post-process you image to enhance it, etc.
- It looks that you are not using a full frame camera. It might help if you use one.
- The quality glass you are using is setting boundaries for your style.
- The f/stop you are using is entry level, you should use f/stop of higher (and priced) lens.
- The brand X is better that the Y you are using. Change your camera brand and your photos will be better.
But sometimes, you don't need a reason to have a new gear. Yes, sometimes, money is enough.
What is your case on getting new gear?
